The VISA GDPR Label is the reference label for assessing the conformity of organizations' websites on the basis of the GDPR, the Data Protection Act, the recommendations of the CNIL, the EDPS and the case law of national and European courts.
The Visa GDPR label is aimed at all types of organizations (companies, associations or communities) and regardless of the size of the entity or sector of activity.

The Visa GDPR label certifies the standards for the protection of personal data on websites, in relation to the following legal texts:
- European Union Regulation N°2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data repealing the Directive 95/46/EC.
- Law n°78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms in its latest version.
- The recommendations, opinions and decisions of the National Commission for Information Technology and Liberties (CNIL), the supervisory authorities on data protection and the European Data Protection Board (EDPS).
- The case law of the national and European Courts.
The Visa GDPR Label is based on a repository made up of 18 checkpoints in which evaluation criteria are distributed which challenge the organization and its website on all GDPR compliance measures. The Visa GDPR label certifies that the eligible organization complies with the following directives in accordance with the European regulation on the protection of personal data, at the time of inspection:
