Presentation

Voies Navigables de France embodies the essence of river ambition as a national operator. It is a unique establishment which works on two complementary and interconnected networks, through three major missions serving the public: the promotion of river logistics, the contribution to regional planning, and the overall management of water resources.

A national-scale project

With a team exceeding 4,000 employees, Voies Navigables de France has its headquarters in Béthune (62), made up of six functional departments. In addition, it has seven territorial directorates spread across Lille, Strasbourg, Paris, Nancy, Lyon, Dijon and Toulouse.
The territorial directorates cover the entire 6,700 kilometers of the network under the supervision of Voies Navigables de France. Their area of intervention is defined by basin, encompassing the Nord Pas de Calais, the Seine Basin and the downstream Loire, the Rhine basin, the North-East, the Rhône-Saône, Central Burgundy, and the South- West. They bring together teams dedicated to river professions and territorial services distributed along river routes.

Today, Voies Navigables de France has around 500 locations across the country, positioned as close as possible to users of waterways. It is an organization determined to promote the waterway and contribute to the harmonious development of our country.

After several months of in-depth study and analysis of market solutions, Les Voies Navigables de France chose the Data Comply One platform (formerly Mission RGPD) to manage compliance with the general regulations on the protection of personal data.

"The platform is very intuitive and adapted to our needs. The experts are attentive, available with a rapid reaction. The documentary space at the top and updated regularly. "
