Duvel Moortgat is an independent family of authentic craft breweries, leaders in specialty beers. Duvel has been brewing for four generations, since 1871. From the very beginning, Duvel has been possessed by the quality of every drop, barrel and bottle of over 2 million hectoliters of specialty beer that we produce each year. The group uses the best natural ingredients, with a lot of patience and respect for the planet. Nearly 2,000 employees, from Puurs in Shanghai and Lyon, Soragna, Cooperstown, Kansas City and Paso Robles (USA), apply themselves to their task every day with enthusiasm. What are the challenges of personal data protection and GDPR compliance for your business?
The GDPR issues for our company are diverse, but mainly respect for the rights of employees, customers and consumers.
As part of your role, what problems did you encounter in bringing your company into GDPR compliance?
We did not have a tool to centralize the management of GDPR obligations.
